It leverages public blockchain networks, Immu3 on-chain communication infrastructure stack and decentralized storage enabled by PollinationX, to allow a secure and efficient solution for peer-to-peer encrypted data file transfers.
As the data file transfer process is data heavier, lite encrypted JSON objects are created to hold W3XShare metadata. The link to this metadata and checksum is recorded on the chain as a blockchain transaction, while encrypted big data is transfered via decentralized storage. So the core primitive described by the formula below applies;

Legacy data file managing and sharing applications use a centralized database and in most cases do not offer E2E encryption. Users are paying for the service in their data that is mined by the app. This Web2 centralized model leads to data ownership loss, potential de-platforming, identity theft, email spam, email spoofing, and loss of privacy.
W3XShare is a decentralized Web3 application with no centralized database where all data is controlled by the user. The data file transfers happens onchain as one data transfer represents one L1/L2 blockchain transaction. The system prevents Web2 data mining, data ownership loss, and de-platforming cases while enabling secure, permissionless, immutable, and self-custodial P2P on-chain communication.
Encryption is one of the key parts of the solution. W3XShare utilises AES-randomly generated secret key to enable end-to-end encryption. Each secret key is unique and generated automatically for each data file transfer. The transfers can not be decrypted without the secret encryption key!
